Death

The life of my chia pet was short lived. I forgot to water it for about three days and it completely died. I am going through a period of mourning now I as try to grow a new one....oh fragile life.

Jury Duty

I have just received a summons to do my civic duty and be available to serve on a jury in the District of Columbia. As someone who spends 8-10 hours a day working for piddling amount in the name of public service, I thought I would be excited about the opportunity to serve.

But I'm not.

Oprah made it sound so compelling and interesting when she did it. Perhaps I am not making the best of this situation.

The picture of Nancy Pelosi is just to illustrate something else that I'm not excited about.

CH CH CH CHIA PET

I have been growing a digital chia pet for the past four months and this is the first week that I have successfully kept it from dying. I am so proud of this accomplishment that I felt the need to share the triumph with the world, or more accurately the five people that read our blog. Yes, our readership is up by two we are growing in leaps and bounds.
